What about auctions?
Auctions are the feature people picture first when they think of eBay. Here's the honest answer: Garnet does not run timed live bidding. It covers fixed-price listings and a make-an-offer flow, where a buyer proposes a price and the seller accepts, counters, or declines.

The large majority of eBay's own volume is fixed price, not auction, and eBay counted roughly 132 million active buyers in early 2024 mostly buying things at a set price.
