Choose Shipping Strategy

Steps

1. If you would like to apply the same shipping rates to all vendors, this is doable directly on Shopify (no need to set up Garnet Shipping option)
2. To allow different rates per vendor, a prerequisite is to have a specific Shopify plan (Grow / Advanced / Plus)
3. If so, go to Garnet > Admin Panel > Shipping and select the model you want:
   • Flat Rate: vendors define price rules based on geography or product dimensions, get the shipping money from the customer, and manage shipping on their own
   • Live Rate: get real-time shipping costs at customer checkout and allow vendors to generate shipping labels directly on Garnet
4. The rest of the setup is to be done by vendors on their own account
