Etsy integration

The Etsy integration imports a vendor's Etsy listings into your marketplace. The vendor only shares the link of their Etsy shop: there is nothing to install and no Etsy account to connect.

Getting started

1. In Garnet, go to Garnet > Settings > Integrations and select Etsy
2. Paste the link of the Etsy shop, such as https://www.etsy.com/shop/YourShop, and click Connect

Garnet checks the shop has listings for sale and starts importing them.

What is imported

Each listing comes with its title, description, photos, category and variations, priced in the currency the shop sells in on Etsy. A listing on sale keeps its price before the sale as the compare-at price.

• Variations: every combination of the listing's options becomes a variant. With two drop-downs, Etsy does not show the price of each combination: Garnet uses the highest price of the options chosen, never less than Etsy's.
• Stock: Etsy shows the stock of a listing, not of each option. Every option for sale gets the listing's stock, a sold out option none.
• Personalisation: a listing whose buyer must type a personalisation is imported as a draft, as an order cannot carry it to the vendor.

Keeping products up to date

An import is a snapshot of the shop on the day it runs: price and stock changes on Etsy are not followed. Save the integration again from its settings to import the shop afresh.

Orders

Orders are not sent to Etsy. The vendor receives the marketplace's orders like any vendor without an integration and ships them from their own stock.
