30 September - Add URL type in vendor fields
Vendor fields now support the URL metafields. Use it to have a URL object compatible in your Shopify theme.
29 September - Update individual order commission
The marketplace can now edit the commission of individual orders. The payout and commission are automatically computed.
29 September - CSV upload specification validation
CSV upload now supports validation from specifications. Check our updated documentation to learn more about it.
We ensured our validation message is clear and allow vendors to iterate on their CSV without leaving the CSV upload view.
24 September - CSV upload unique by SKU
You can now safely update the same CSV twice to Garnet and products will be updated the way you expect it. We use the SKU as the unique identifier for each row of the file.
We also added in our documentation advanced details about the CSV upload behavior to help the marketplace troubleshoot CSV errors with vendors.
23 September - Documentation customer
We added a new piece of documentation to explain how to create collections with filters using specifications. Here is the article.
10 September - Selected vendor is on top
Were you scrolling to find your vendor? It now shows at the top of the list by default.
4 September - Make an offer feature release
Garnet Marketplace now supports the new Make an offer feature. Make an offer allows customers to offer a different price for a listed product. The vendor can accept, reject or counter the offer.

2 September - Vendor fields support file type
While it was available for a long time for product specifications, vendor fields now support the file type.
This allows vendors to upload PDFs or any type of file to create an account with Garnet.
31 August - New marketplace comments on variants
On top of title, description, and image comments, marketplaces can now set helper comments on the variant fields to guide sellers.
1 September - Shopify integration synchronizes variant images
Garnet's Shopify integration properly synchronises the variant image. If the Do not synchronize content is turned off, the image will only be added once and never overriden.
If you have existing products, the variant image will progressively update your products in the next synchronisation.
31 August - Warehouse vendor setting
Marketplaces with a warehouse can now configure warehouse vendors where vendors ship items to the marketplace's warehouse and the marketplace handles fulfillment. When enabled, vendors cannot edit inventory, fulfill orders, or see customer details.
29 August - Better complex specification validation
Garnet Marketplace now supports a wider range of specification validations. If there were mandatory metafields based on several conditions, which depended on other non-mandatory specifications, the existing validation will apply.
Such conditions happened for marketplaces allowing multiple sub-categories in optional categories.
28 August - Better product edit using top navbar
Nice tweak on the product page to keep all important information on the same screen. Vendors don't need to scroll all the way up to save a product.
28 August - Shipping pickup
When local pickup is turned on, customers can come and collect the item at the warehouse address for free. The shipping will show to all customers. This setting can be overridden at the product level.
This feature extends the live shipping rates add-on.
28 August - Improved product shipping view
Garnet has more and more shipping features! To accommodate them, we revamped the shipping view at the product level.
With all shipping features turned on, the product shipping section will look like this:
26 August - Messages only display the customer first name
26 August - New email on integration added
Whenever an integration is added, the marketplace now receives an email notification. This feature is turned on by default.
25 August - Add application status filter
Admins now have a filter in their vendor application list.
24 August - Fix: Product variant image duplicate
Duplicate a product now works properly with any type of media on the variant level.
24 August - Click on product image to show full resolution
Users can click a product image to see it in full resolution.
24 August - Show vendor shipping in Admin Panel
Administrators can see the vendor shipping information directly in the Admin Panel > Switch vendor view.

24 August - Filter messages by unanswered
21 August - Finance view has been merged into the Order view
Garnet Marketplace has merged the finance view into the order view. All the data have been kept, this is only a layout change. Checkout our article to learn more about it.
21 August - Fix header order and product on Safari
Vendors and marketplace with an old Safari version could not select multiple orders, products, or finance line. It has been fixed.
20 August - Translate order status
We found that order status were not properly translated in all our supported languages. It has been added.
20 August - Multi location support
Garnet Marketplace now supports products added from different Shopify locations. The vendor and the marketplace can edit the quantities of products outside of the configured location.
20 August - Product type picker documentation
We've added documentation for our product type picker.
18 August - Set default units
The marketplace can now set default units for weight and dimensions.
17 August - Add weight and weight unit in product CSV export

14 August - More granular shipping options
The marketplace can enable shipping to vendors without activating shipping on their marketplace. It allows the marketplace to collect shipping information before going live.
13 August - Message conversation keep failed message
If a message did not pass our moderation filter, the message will be back to be editable by the user. They don't have to retype everything.
13 August - Email template revamp
We gave a cosmetic boost to all our emails. They used to be minimalist, but now they are prettier using your theme colors.

10 August - Product duplicate with many variants
Duplicating a product with more than 9 variants will have its variant image properly copied without any duplication.
8 August - Default automatic approval
We moved the automatic approval feature to Admin Panel > Features. When turned on, all new vendors will have auto-approval turned on.
8 August - Test Finance configuration on real orders
Garnet is working on an improved Finance view that will be simpler for the vendors, the marketplace, and also more accurate.
7 August - Customize sender email directly in Garnet
For marketplaces not using an email integration, you can now change the sender email directly in Garnet. Learn more about sender email and its DNS integration
7 August - Soft release of our new integration app
We are working with two marketplaces to develop our new app that is now released on the Shopify app store. It is focused on eCommerce integrations, nothing else. Built on Garnet Marketplace's technology, it allows more fine tuning when synchronising products, orders, and tracking numbers. Only supports Shopify integrations for now.

5 August - Video on the messaging feature
We made a new video to showcase the messaging feature. Explore what a customer and a vendor sees.
5 August - Order search improvement
Garnet's order search now support searching by vendor name when using the Marketplace View.
4 August - Shopify integration tweak
Regarding the Shopify integration: Products that were previously marked as continue selling when out of stock will be marked as product with untracked inventory, making it easier to understand why products are live.
1 August - Larger and more detailed tables
We tidied up our UI. It now looks better and displays more information on page:
- Larger tables,
- More information when scrolling to the right,
- Less colorful: only highlight what is necessary,
- Numeric values better displayed for comparison,
- More pages available in the pagination at the bottom of the table,
- Improvement navigating between pages.
1 August - Various chat messages improvements
Long text display, admin messages, sorted messages, moderation protections, and small screen support were improved on the messaging features.
28 July - Better tab names
Garnet's tab now contain the marketplace name. This helps vendors to find the portal url simply by typing the marketplace name in their search bar.
24 July - Garnet Marketplace live chat
Marketplace administrators can now contact Garnet Marketplace support directly in the dashboard.
24 July - Moderate messages
The marketplaces can now remove a message, a conversation, or a user from using Garnet Marketplace's messages. We've also added more information regarding moderation.
22 July - Fix payout for vendors with special characters

21 July - Auto-approval documentation
We found the auto-approval feature was never documented! It is now.
21 July - Vendor page - Mandatory fields
The vendor page now also supports mandatory fields.
19 July - Advanced form for product catalog
The product catalog theme component feature now support more advanced form on the product page. We've also improved the documentation.
18 July - Pay more than 25 vendors in one payout
Using our Stripe integrations, it is now possible to pay over 25 vendors in one payout.
17 July - Fix display of exotic metafields
Metafield with multiple validation (min, max, regex, choices) are now displayed correctly in Garnet.
16 July - Custom CSS for login modal
Theme components that require authentication, now have a more customizable (and more designed) modal. It can also now be customized with CSS.
16 July - Messaging limitation
To prevent spam, buyers aren't allowed anymore to send any links and images. Garnet will gradually become stricter in messaging moderation to protect the marketplace and its vendors. We will not publicly disclose all improvements as a security measure.
14 July - Auto-fulfill does not notify the customer
When a seller has a digital product and the marketplace enabled the auto-fulfill option, then the customer will not receive a fulfillment email.
They don't need it anyway since they received the confirmation email a few second before.
8 July - Shipping refund displayed
The order details now properly show shipping refunds, as well as refund cancellation and additional shipping.
4 July - Rename vendor
Marketplaces can now rename vendors without asking for support. Renaming vendors will rename all existing integrations and is built to avoid disrupting any marketplace automation.
4 July - Packing slip show line items properties
3 July - Reorganised documentation
As you can see, Garnet has a lot of new features. Some old pieces of documentation were misplaced or hard to find. We've done a bit of cleanup but nothing was removed. If you lost your favorite page use the search bar to find it.
3 July - Product translations
Vendors can edit product translations by clicking the translation panel at the top right of the product page.
2 July - Product Catalog release
We have released a first version of a new add-on called the product catalog. Product catalog allows the marketplace to restrict vendors to add products only from a subset of selected products by the marketplace. Vendors will compete on the marketplace to sell the best offer (which usually means the cheapest offer).
2 July - Add Italian translation

1 July - Advanced Garnet fields translation
Marketplaces can now provide translations for user fields such as specifications, wordings, and more.
